Managing product images is a big part of organizing for product oriented publishing.

There are a lot of them, they may come from different sources, may require editing, and may be individual items or group shots.

Furthermore, due in part to vendor repackaging, the pictures that are actually used are always changing.

Product organizer provides a way to keep product images organized and up to date.

First the database provides a means to associate a picture to anything in the product hierarchy, so group shots, product line logos and other items can be tied to the manner in which they are used.
Second, the actual image file can be changed outside of Product Organizer without loosing its association. So if a product's packaging changes, the new image is automatically updated everywhere it is used.
